I am still here!
I have been awfully silent the last couple of months, I know, but I promise to write something more soon! There has been so much going on, with a mission in Ireland in January, a trip to a famous pilgrimage shrine in France in February, visits to the Vatican offices of the Congregation for the Saints and the Congregation where Papa Benedetto used to work, and classes on all sorts of things - Cristology, Moral Theology, the Catechism, the Holy Spirit, Compassion for the poor, etc... One of our fellow students broke her ankle a couple weeks ago, so we're trying to help her get around in crutches and a wheelchair! And this Friday we leave for our final big mission in the Netherlands. Then not long after that we help out with a young adult retreat for the Easter Triduum, then a break for a week, then a week long silent retreat. It never stops! We are so stinking busy! But so much of what we get to do is amazing, that's a really wonderful aspect of the school. I will go into details of everything at another time. Am excited, some of us are going to Orvieto for a day trip tomorrow (a lovely hill town in Umbria!).

Dear Janelle,
Thank you for sharing about your experiences with EMS. I'm going to be going to Rome in late April to give a talk on podcasting at the Pontifical University of the Holy Cross. I hope to meet with some officials from EMS to talk about training some of you all to use podcasting as a way to "shout it from the rooftops." Thanks for your prayers regarding this. If you want to learn more about podcasting or the group I helped to create, please visit our web site, which is www.discipleswithmicrophones.org. God bless you.
Yours in the Lord,
Carlos Briceno
